Gratitude

The piece is written to express my heartfelt gratitude to Manatita, a wonderful fellow author, my brother, and my teacher. He's always been a source of inspiration for me.

As Sri Chinmoy said, 'Gratitude is the sweetest thing in a seeker's life- in all human life. If there is gratitude in your heart, then there will be tremendous sweetness in your eyes.

Sometimes, we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to appreciate the beauty of the world around us. Manatita's poetry every time did wonder for me. His beautiful poetry kept reminding me that no, it didn't end yet. Keep on trying. You can walk! Don't get tiered you have that courage.

Thank you for always being an inspiration to me. “Thank you for your kind support“ is a very small phrase, but it is all I can say. Much gratitude!!!

You Chose to Live in Our Hearts

In our hearts, You have chosen to Live,

The heart is the land where You filled Love,

Your Love is here, You're not angry, Teaching us Grace.

Walking on Your path and worshiping in prayers

Your Love is the reason I am able to live,

New on this planet, there is Peace and safety.

Grace is right here, waiting to be discovered.

Your Spirit and, Your Love is the foundation of our Life.

Everything that perplexes us, vanished.

We are now free, no longer in distress.

Because salvation and mercy are Lord's Praise,

and chanting brings Glory.

All around the world, truth is growing,

we can now travel in the Path of Peace.

Not to give up under any circumstances should be the motto of our life: we shall try again and again, and we are bound to succeed. There will be obstacles, but we have to defy them. So do not give up, do not give up! Continue, continue! The goal is ahead of you. If you do not give up, you are bound to reach your destined goal.

— ~Sri Chinmoy

Surrender is The Only Cure

Something is hidden in the deepest layers of my heart, perplexes me greatly.

Gathered for years, but not approached for days at a time.

When you pick it up, it hurts, but there is no cure when you leave it.

Is it possible to find solace in the tears streaming down my cheeks?

And what comes after an endless dark tunnel? Is it light?

My deepest feelings have been influenced, So, I have changed my way of life.

Kind words said by many, weeping heart, wounds remain unhealed.

While own mind is failing, be strong for the one who is in need.

Confusion screams for immediate attention,

while life already expects so much at once.

Is there new courage and strength as I pass through this dark night,

where the stars and moon are hiding behind the clouds?

May I seek refuge under His wings? In that shadow, there is comfort, as life is strenuous.

Or May I weep like a child who seeks comfort on his mother's lap.

There come times, I don't understand what He has written in my life?

My own power nor my strength, hasn't worked up ever well.

So, the safest way to reach the unknown land,

Is walking in Light, Holding His Hand.

Not to give up under any circumstances should be the motto of our life: I shall try again and again, and I am bound to succeed. There will be obstacles, but I have to defy the obstacles.

My deepest gratitude to all our friends who found it worthy, to not only comment on Misbah's loving and gracious article, but also to think of me kindly, like she did.

I am only an instrument of Allah... we all are. I try, bismillah, by Allah's mercy, to be a conscious and better instrument of His/Hers.

Some humans creep, walk or jog towards Allah. Misbah came running and continues to run. It has been a joy to work with such a receptive soul.

One so willing to accommodate different ideas ... so humble, so willing to learn, even in the face of great challenges, adversity and loss. I truly admire her simplicity ... her zeal!

She has done 100 Hubs here in very little time and her versatility and diligence, in the face of almost impossible odds, are truly commendable.

Misbah, it is good that you speak of Seers like Sri Chinmoy and Rumi. Rumi refers to the Light within, just as Christ referred to the Heart. They are not outside us ... not in the sky but in the realms of the invisible within.

I love your work but especially the piece on Surrender. You're at your best when you use a raw, emotive and very sincere style. It is heartfelt and touching, indeed very engaging too.

Surrender is the third and highest rung of the spiritual ladder. It is an offering up of ourselves to Allah, knowing that Allah is in charge, that we are His/Her creation... that He/she will always do the needful for our well-being. Love and devotion, are the first and second rungs.

My extreme gratitude for this sublime article! May the Absolute Supreme continue to bless you and keep you safe.

My sweet friend, your kind and lovely sentiments are greatly appreciated. I'm pleased to know that you enjoyed the poem. Indeed, Surrender is both the key and the only cure. Not a single leaf can move without God's permission.

So, let's just surrender ourselves to Him and spread Love... :)

Take care and stay safe and happy.
