Wisdom from the Master

"The beauty
Of hope’s outer life
And the fragrance
Of hope’s inner life
Are keeping humanity sane." - Sri Chinmoy

"Hope is sweet.
Hope is illumining.
Hope is fulfilling.
Hope can be everlasting.
Therefore, do not give up hope
Even in the sunset of your life."- Sri Chinmoy

Glowing on the Effulgent Lap of Supernal Love

Each ‘now’, is the dawn of another sunrise,

That keeps our flames burning; the winds of

Transformation lies, within each sacred Heart.

The changing face of ashen clouds, offers

No dreams of a tomorrow, yet the voice

Of the Invisible whispers: “Go on, go on!”

Flowers fade, only to emerge again with blossoms,

Night ascends, heralding the moon and shooting stars.

Have you experienced a sunset, with no hope of dawn?

The deer’s a manifestation, of each new virgin fawn.

Lazarus was thought to have died for good;

Yet Grace showed that he was only sleeping.

The Prodigal went astray in his iniquities,

Yet rose to glory in his Father’s Kingdom.

The Naga Baba drifts from place to place, naked,

With nothing but his daunting faith. Yet the rose

In all its grandeur, cannot match the glory of his soul.

Rejoice, my sweet angels, you have not done so

Badly after all! Our Hearts still sing of eternity,

Even as hope blooms with new discoveries.

Our once forgotten humans, are once again

Remembered; the breeze of new

Benevolence, now penetrates the soul.

We’re much more in synergy, than the light of myriad

Suns! Gaia is simply grooming our shadows, so we

Continue to glow, on the effulgent lap of supernal Love.

The Smile of a Heart of Innocence, will Teach us all we Need to Know About Love

Teaching us Slowly, all we Ever Need to Know, About the Unspoken

Life gives me the plight of an old man

With myriad ailments, yet a Heart with

The smile of a child, soaring like a bird,

Carrying my ageing passengers on its wings.

Freedom is the cage unlimited, with or

Without form; the cage a Freedom veiled,

Purposefully unravelling its own map; marching

Towards the golden Light of the unknowable.

Earth circles the blooming flowers, while

The gem-stone beauty of the indigo moon,

Joyfully kisses my soul; walks with me to

The pinnacle-crest of happiness.

Silvery clouds float, as the stars twinkle, dancing

In the perennial vastness of a twilight sky. Autumnal

Leaves dissipate and flourish anew, falling and

Rising, like a pendulum, on the lap of supernal wonder.

A lit candle hurts when touched improperly,

Yet it gives light to the dark and solace during prayers.

We are all notes on the lute of the Breath of breaths,

Each one a beautiful flower, emitting its own scent.

In this drama called ‘Life’, the rose of Love blossoms radiantly,

Teaching us slowly all we ever need to know, about the Unspoken.

Wisdom from the Master

"From the New Year we can learn that God is God only when God is OUR God and not MY God. From the New Year we can learn that Truth is Truth only when Truth is OUR Truth and not MY Truth.

At every moment it is we who can make ourselves a blessing to ourselves and to the world at large." - Sri Chinmoy

"

Beauty is neither 'this' nor 'that', but the Light of the Beloved. - Manatita

You transported me back to Dhaka where my husband and I worked for a few months and had really a great time. You made me think of the indigo moon...and my imagination wants to capture what you said. A great ode to Farah.

Thank you, thank you.

So kind, so kind. Freedom allows us to use the form with inner assurance. Indeed Freedom, in the Highest sense of the word, is Moksha or Liberation, which itself is one with Brahman and as such manifest in the Jivan Mukti or freed soul.

Being from Bangladesh, you already know this, as it has produced the likes of Ramakrisha, Aurobindo, Guruji and many more. Much Love.

manatita44 (author) from london on December 30, 2020:

Thanks Nithya,

Yes, Love keeps us going. It is our inseparable, visible and invisible friend that comes from Brahman, like Light or Peace and dwells in our Hearts, forever. Thank you so much! My Heart of Love to you for your support and best wishes to you and family. Happy New Year!!
