Glorify the Son
The King of kings
Stooped low
He did this for all of humanity
He loved us to the point of insanity
(as some would say) because
Who would die for his friends?
Many say they would but
They have not been tested
Jesus endured wilfully
Part of Him wished he'd protested
Jesus wilfully willed against His own will
The Father to please, for
The Father is greater than the Son
The two agreeing together
Has made all of us one
The one new man fit so perfectly
Glorifying the Son
