Glitter of the Past

Updated on January 9, 2018

Years ago came the light,

and we see it now..

How can we believe the past light,

when we see it now?

Glittering with all the happiness,

a thousand stars or more..

Never so dull, never so tired of travelling

a thousand light years or more.

Gone are the days,

which we seldom think of;

yet the stars return those days with a little glitter,

enough to make us happy,

enough to make us smile..

Probably the light started its journey today,

to travel a thousand miles,

undoubtedly to greet us with the same bright light

some years after...

Amazing is it?

The only one thing that makes both our past and present wonderful !

No matter the place,

no matter the time..

Ankita -- very, very good poetry. Very smooth and yet, so alive. You should write books of poetry. Me? I love to design Abstract/Prose.

And give you this Personalized Thank You note that your Fan Mail location does NOT appear on your Profile page, so I will put it here.

      Hello, Ankita,

I am sending you My Personalized "Thank You Note," for becoming one of my Valued Followers. I also offer you my Sincere Apologies for not responding to your 'follow' notification due to the fact that there are things (outside of HubPages) that need my attention and I just (sometimes) need to get away from HubPages for a while to get my breath, recharge and go wide-open again.

Thank You so much for your following. I want to hear from you whenever you have an opportunity. And if you have suggestions, ideas, even mild criticism of my work, please tell me so I can (if possible) help it and do better.

      Sincerely,

      Your Friend Forever,

      Kenneth

I enjoyed your poem. It's hard to understand how the star can burn out, but we are able to still see it.
