Glitter of the Past
Years ago came the light,
and we see it now..
How can we believe the past light,
when we see it now?
Glittering with all the happiness,
a thousand stars or more..
Never so dull, never so tired of travelling
a thousand light years or more.
Gone are the days,
which we seldom think of;
yet the stars return those days with a little glitter,
enough to make us happy,
enough to make us smile..
Probably the light started its journey today,
to travel a thousand miles,
undoubtedly to greet us with the same bright light
some years after...
Amazing is it?
The only one thing that makes both our past and present wonderful !
No matter the place,
no matter the time..

Ankita -- very, very good poetry. Very smooth and yet, so alive. You should write books of poetry. Me? I love to design Abstract/Prose.

I enjoyed your poem. It's hard to understand how the star can burn out, but we are able to still see it.
