I wish the ghosts of my past could haunt me again,

But they are forever locked in yesteryear,

Time-capsuled in a vagrant moment,

They slip through my mind like waves of fog,

My hopes have been dashed to pieces,

They will never be completely whole again,

But there's a light glimmering on the edges,

And a peace in the shadows,

Though I sometimes I feel so alone,

The ghosts of bygone days stay alive within me.
