Friends with Feline

friends-with-feline

I wondered, what those mean-eyed creatures would do

If I pushed my fingers through their fur,

They may bite, they may scar.

If I touched them or pulled their tails,

They might roar or they could run away.

Eyes like marbles: green, blue, brown or gold

God has blessed them with uncanny souls.

Afraid I was to be enchanted,

So I always pondered from a distance,

How would they feel if I touched them.

Then one day I found her there,

She was the fluffiest pussy cat ever!

Little Miss Mischievous, greedy for love,

Hence I named her Powerpuff.
