Forgiveness: Love’s Most Powerful Residue- A Response To Brenda Arledge Word Prompt (Forgiveness)

Rosualdo is just an ordinary person with an extraordinary God, who wants to spread God’s words and love through writing articles and poems.

Forgiveness manifests the awesome power of love. It has the power to liberate a troubled heart and mind from the spirit of hate, resentment, and retaliation. It heals a broken and ruined relationship and fellowship. It exhibits God’s forgiving love to us.

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:14-15 NIV)

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13 NIV)

Love is the most dominant and powerful virtue,

forgiveness is its most effective and powerful residue,

offer it to anyone who offends and sins against you,

and you will gain a victory from the battle you long and pursue

Forgiveness must be bestowed and sown,

to receive the forgiveness from God we desire to own,

uproot the weeds of vengeance in our heart’s lawn,

and let God and his love be enthroned and grown

Forgiveness will liberate anyone from the grips of slavery,

sets free from impending and inevitable calamity,

brings freedom from useless bitterness and hostility,

and will provide an escape from consuming and destroying fury

Forgiveness will generate genuine recovery and healing,

from the deep wounds of the past that continuously afflicting,

injects the therapy and treatment of painful suffering,

and revitalize the energy and power of purposeful living

Forgiveness will restore and reconnect

broken relationship,

unite and attach the damaged and destroyed fellowship,

restart and proceed a new and strong bond of friendship,

and rebuild and renew the memorable memories of companionship

Forgiveness exhibits the work of God’s love and mercy,

it should be expressed by those who receive the pity,

offered by those who are freed from the clasps of captivity,

and live by those who love righteousness and purity
