Forever Loving You

I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I live in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia. I have a wonderful cat named Sid.

Love you forever and a day,

until the end of time,

with every sunrise and sunset -

with every passionate yearning.

there is no doubt,

in this heart of mine -

the rivers of longing flow.

till poets run out of rhyme,

till the world stops spinning

and time stands still.

Love you forever,

from morning till night,

making my daydreams come true

and sharing kisses under the moon.

each fun-filled sun sparkling day,

each endless night of passion and tenderness -

forever until the end of time.

you are my love and my life,

you make my dreams come true -

you’re my heart’s desire.

Such wonder there is in forever,

words unspoken,

stretching across the skies -

forever and ever more.

A love sung in love songs,

and written in poems.

A love found on the literate page

and told about in films.

As time goes on,

no longer to have you beside me,

makes me realize –

forever in love with you, I’ll be.

Love you forever,

How long is forever?

One never knows -

but love goes on even to the stars beyond.

Your love is infinite. Its inspiring to meet someone who has had the fortune to have good love in her life.

When I read your last verse it took me to this beautiful children's book about bunny rabbits and how they tell each other how they will one another from here to the moon and back.

      Love...mystifying for me right now.

      Lovely sweet poem Gypsy Rose.

That's a lovely poem. And I love the Billy Joel song at the end.
