Welcome
Welcome to the first edition of Faithful Poems from the Beach.
i write poems and song lyrics all the time. I found however, i write way more Inspirational poems than any others so I decided to highlight them together. In this edition all the poems are about the five aspects of the Christian life, reach, connect, follow, serve and lead.
i hope you enjoy all the poems and as always I look forward to hearing from you in the comments section.
Reaching Out To Others
Proverbs 11:29, “Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.“
Having a bountiful eye means reaching out to others sharing what you have with those in need. It is not only a monetary thing though it also means sharing your faith, your love of God and just goodwill to all.
Reach
Reach
Reach
Reach
Reach out into the world
Take the love you know
To the places you go
Tell the people the good news
Reach
Reach
Reach
Reach out into the world
Take the love you know
To the places you go
Show them how true love works
Reach
Reach
Reach
Reach out to a lonely and dying world
That so desperately seeks a change
From the lost life they’ve only known
Into a new life of freedom from pain
Reach

Connecting To Fellow Believers
Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.“. Connecting to others is a crucial part of the Christian life. We do not learn in a vacuum all alone by ourselves. God said, “where two or more are gathered in my name there I am also.“ We were created for fellowship and the only way to grow is through fellowship and worship with others.
Connect
Connected, Connected
Not by the blood of a father or mother
But we’re still all sisters and brothers
Because of the blood of the Lamb
Connected, connected
We’re all connected one to another
Because we all bent the knee
Let Jesus set our hearts free
From the life we used to know
Connected, connected
Now we’re connected in every way
To walk in faith in service each day
Doing the work God has called us to
Connected, connected
We’re all connected, a body of one
As we worship God’s only born Son
Through singing and sharing the Word
Connected, connected
Now we’re connected for eternity
As Gods newly formed family
Follow
John 8:12, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” We want to spread God‘s message of salvation We need to follow the one and only one who saved us and calls on us to spread that message.
Welcome To The Jungle
Welcome to the jungle
It’s your life day by day
You better be careful
It’s easy to loose your way
As you walk life’s short path better be sure your way is true
cause that‘s the only way you‘re gonna make it through
Cause’ the devil’s a hungry lion he’s always on the prowl
Waiting for the right moment to come and take you down
He’ll use your own desires to lure you into his trap
Then he’ll take your life next step may be your last
Welcome to the jungle
It’s your life day by day
You better be careful
It’s easy to loose your way
The way to get through life the way to make a stand
Is followin’ word for word what it says in the master’s plan
All the words were written penned with you in mind
Cause the master knew life would be an uphill climb
This doesn't mean the devil will never be watchin’ you
Cause takin’ down a believer is his favorite thing to do
Welcome to the jungle
It’s your life day by day
You better follow the instructions
Or you will loose your way
Serve
Hebrews 6:10, “1. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” One of the most important parts of any Christian life is service. We learn
Serve The Lord With Gladness
Serve the Lord with gladness
Serve the Lord with gladness
Serve the Lord with gladness
And
Thanksgiving in your heart
How can your heart
be downcast
How can your soul
be forlorn
When you’ve been given
the greatest gift of all
A life reborn
How can your life
be troubled
How can your eyes
be filled with pain
When you’ve been given
the greatest gift of all
A life reborn
Serve the Lord with gladness
Serve the Lord with gladness
Serve the Lord with gladness
And
Thanksgiving in your heart
Lead
Matthew 7:12, “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
God calls us to lead in two ways The first is to lead others into the knowledge of a saving grace in Jesus. The second is to lead believers to a greater understanding of what it means to be a Christian. Both of these can be can be done by setting an example for others in words and most especially in deeds.
Leading Others Along
You call me to lead others of the faith
In a better knowledge of your saving grace
I have known for so many, many years
But Lord I don’t know if I’m really the man
To help others further understand the plan
You have for the lives of those you’ve called
I barely know know how to get through
The life which you have called me too
The steps I need to take each new day
Still Lord you call me to lead, lead
Help others plant their own seeds
But I don’t know the words to speak
You call me to lead others of the faith
In a better knowledge of your saving grace
I have known for so many, many years
I guess I’ll do what I always seek to do
Pray for you to guide me on through
And To give the words I need to say
It’s how I live my life, how I live each day
Thank You
