Fairytales and Nightmares

Recently, Lisa parlayed her passion into an apprenticeship withPanda Project, managing and mentoring a team of ten other aspiring authors.

When we were babies.

When we were babies.

You were a Little fat boy

just trying to fit in.

Self hated, self destroyed

always chasing the win.

Drugs numbed the pain

they were always there.

Popping bottles, popping pills,

chasing the dragon, or hittting the bubble,

whatever took away the feels.

The law soon became your trouble.

As you were running from the shadows,

all you wanted was to matter.

Our days of fairytales,

turned quickly into nightmares.

Twinkle, Twinkle - little star,

you have gone away so far.

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray your soul finds some peace.

All the king's horses, all the king's men

couldn't put my brother back together again.

My whole life

you were there.

Not gonna lie

life wasn't fair.

Days of nursery rhymes, long gone

we grew, into life on our own.

Broken hearts, broken homes

lead us down, broken roads.

Twinkle Twinkle, little star

you have gone away so far.

Now I lay me down to sleep

I Pray your soul finds some peace.

All the king's horses, all the king's men

couldn't put my brother together again.
