Aspire to make this world

A wonderful place to be in;

Take positive steps to make this world

An ideal abode for our children.

We have not inherited this world

From our fore – fathers;

We have borrowed it from our children

And to them it has to return.

God made this world so beautiful

Let us preserve its beauty in full;

Let us not destroy earth’s green cover

Let us not pollute air and water.

We must not destroy earth’s ozone cover

Else many would die from skin cancer;

Forests attract rains and fill our rivers

And add to earth’s natural treasures.

Save water, save trees, and save the air

Adorn this earth with natural care;

Our very existence depends on conservation

Of nature – is it too much to bear?

Nature responds energetically

To loving care;

And puts forth lush trees

And flowers common and rare.

Let us paint the face of world

With loving doting care;

Let the rains come and rainbow shine

With its amazing colours awesomely rare.
