Fabulous, Flowers of February!

Fabulous February is here,

With blossoms all around,

Fragrant, alive, and bright,

Some so delicate, and some fiery,

Colours of Nature, spread all around,

Some flamboyant, some fluorescent,

But so harmonious, and so fresh,

Spreading their aroma all around,

Roses, Lilies, and Pansies,

Jasmines, Bulbs, and Daffodils,

The Witch hazel, and Dahlias,

The vibrant, fragrant blossoms,

Smile at me, as I walk past them,

My soul rejuvenated, I love to sing a song.

Thank you Cynthia, for your kind visit and positive feedback! I am glad you liked the article.

Yes, the beautiful flowers can be seen blossoming all around nowadays in India. The flowers you mention here, in your part of the World, are all my favourites.

Wish you an enjoyable Spring season. Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely happy celebration of the joy of flowers in verse and pictures! I appreciate your information about the timeline for Spring and the flowers you see around you in your part of India.

On Vancouver Island we have a fresh layer of snow, but did have our early snowdrops before that, and will welcome tulips, daffodils, rhododendrons, camelias, and other Spring blooms soon. Also cherry blossoms! Spring is a flower feast here as well, but a little later than when you experience the tide of blooms.

I would love to smell witch hazel fragrance!

I have become a fan of big, showy dahlias and am hopeful that a flaming red one that bloomed in my garden last year will come back bigger and more dramatic this year!

        All the best,

        Cynthia

Blooming of flowers is always a pleasant sight for everyone throughout the year. But colourful and fragrant flowers can be seen in abundance all around at this time of the year in India.

Spring season is approaching and I hope you enjoy the beautiful sight of flowers at your place.

Your photos are beautiful and the facts about February are interesting. The whole hub was very enjoyable to read. Flowers are appearing where I live, but I don't see as many different types as you do at this time of year. I will as the season progresses, though. I'm looking forward to the future!

I really liked the poem that you wrote along with all of your marvelous photos. We have lots of colorful flowers just about year round in our Houston climate. Our city will become even more colorful when the millions of azaleas are in bloom in March. I have some in our garden that bloom several times a year...even during winter months. Sharing this glorious hub of yours.

Flowers always inspire us, don't they! I was touched to read the second paragraph of your comment.

Flowers look most fabulous on the plant where they grow. I hate to pluck them and make bouquets of them. Their life is so short but so beautiful and rejuvenating.

Thank you and have a lovely day!

What a lovely hub, Chitrangada. I am not a green thumb at all, so I am quite jealous of all your beautiful grown flowers in your garden. I wish I felt I could do that. I always think about trying a flower garden. I was also unaware of all the pretty flowers that would grow in February. Wow!

I like wildflowers the best. Daisies have been my favorite since I was just a little girl. I remember a little purse my mom bought for me when I was around five years old; light blue with daisies on it. She knew I liked daisies. :) I always want to pick the wildflowers that I see on the side of the road in the countryside, but I usually leave them and just enjoy the beauty of them when I ride by.
