Euphoria
Floating. Gliding. Weightless.
It’s so freeing,
There is nothing weighing you down
No one to tell you you’re wrong.
Is this Heaven?
No, Heaven is a lot less blue.
A crystal clear blue encompassing everything around,
My body feels like cotton candy
Yet, I love it.
Euphoria.
Is this what being alive is supposed to feel like.
Freedom.
Am I dreaming?
If so, I don’t want to wake up.
The room is spinning,
But in a good way
Like kids playing rings around the rosies.
I feel weightless,
And like I’m flying through the air.
It’s like every care I have is being washed away.
This is my Heaven.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on August 01, 2019:
Not sure where your Euphoria is coming from.
The poem is well written.
