Ethereal and Divine

Heavenly

ethereal-and-divine

DIVINE

Your eyes--pierces through my soul
Your smile--lifts my spirits and makes me whole
Your voice--makes my heart skip a beat
Your presence--brightens up my day and makes me feel complete.

How do you do it?
You make it look so effortless without missing a beat
As bright as the sun in a clear blue sky
You lift me up and make me feel like I can fly.

Like a bolt of lightning at the moment of impact
You delivered a powerful jolt to awaken my dormant heart
I’m drawn to you like a moth to a flame
I wonder if you also feel the same?

Someday, the stars will align
One day, the heavens will open up and give me a sign
Everything about you is ethereal and divine
Wishing on a shooting star that someday you’ll be mine.

i agree brenda, it's an all-consuming feeling...beautiful and exhausting at the same time! but whether or not it is reciprocated is immaterial to me...so long as i've expressed it instead of bottling it up inside of me because that is so much worse...by getting urself out there, u learn a lot about urself...about patience, about being selfless, about unconditional love...i'd be lucky if it's reciprocated...it's something that i hope for but only time will tell...

Wonderful depiction of the feelings one makes you feel.

Sometimes we are fortunate enough to have those feelings reciprocated.

Although, there are times that feelings so strongly felt are oftentimes one-sided.

Wouldn't it be great if this magnetic attraction proves to have the same pull from the other one?
