Let’s Play Blackjack! Song Lyrics

Below are my Song Lyrics “Let’s Play Blackjack!", that can be sung to the same tune as that of “Enjoy The Silence”, by Depeche Mode. Enjoy!

Let’s Play Blackjack!

This was written for entertainment purposes only, and not as a means of advocating ‘Blackjack’ as a way to pay our bills. Gambling is extremely risky.

Wholesome, hard work gives us the best odds, of all, in making a decent living. I do hope you enjoy these song lyrics!

Someone sent me an email asking me to add an audio of my own voice singing my own song lyrics. However, if I did this, you might find it entirely conclusive that you really would prefer to “enjoy the silence” :-)

Enjoy The Silence - Instrumentals - Depeche Mode

Let’s Play Blackjack!

Cheat-Sheets intact

Let’s play Blackjack

Hide Counting-Chart

Inside your sweaty hand

Double-Down, too;

Heed the right cue.

Break the casino,

Oh my gamblin’ friend

What I never wanted

What I never needed

Are these overdue bills

Call it “nation extermination”

Late fees aiming their quills

Cheat-Sheets are posted

Should be boasted

Winning is freedom

Loss is terminal

Blackjack’s treasures

Are our sure cure

Cheat-Sheets fortify

And are tangible

What I never wanted

What I never needed

Are these overdue bills

Call it “nation extermination”

Late fees aiming their quills

What I never wanted

What I never needed

Are these overdue bills

Call it “nation extermination”

Late fees aiming their quills

Let’s Play Blackjack

~

Gambling can lead to gambling addiction, which in turn, can bring about loss of significant relationships, health, and even the basic necessities of life.
In other words, uncontrolled gambling can lead to extreme poverty in every area of our lives. Let’s try to keep a healthy balance in our lives without going to extremes in any one area!

      NatureBoy,

Thank you so much for your kind comment, and I enjoyed hearing about your adventure in the Military with Blackjack. I, also, enjoy playing Blackjack, but do not depend on it for paying groceries, bills, and essentials like that.

I play only when I have the money to lose. I remember putting in $2.00, and winning $75.00. And then, I got up and walked away because I was happy with the $75.00. :-)

      Hugs,

      Tamara

When I was in the military and was in need of money I could pay Black Jack and always won what I needed but when just playing it to get more I always lost.

Neither do I encourage others to use gambling inane for as their way of earning a financial living.

Thanks for it, I'd forgotten about that aspect of my life.

Dream On, if you listen to the video that I included, you can read the words of my poem to the same tune and rhythm as “Enjoy The Silence”, by Depeche Mode :-)

Many people play Blackjack. I wish each day was just so simple. We win. We lose. We try again. Then when we win we win for trying hard. When we lose we lose because we need more practice. We try again because we know we are all winners in the end. Sharing our thoughts and emotions on this roller coaster ride call life.

Thank you, Robert. Yes, the words go to the beat of the song “Enjoy The Silence”, but just as with any other song out there, it is a song, and only a song. Indeed, my notes explain that gambling to pay our bills is lame.

Though there is a song about Batman, it doesn’t mean that there really is a man out there with bat ears, and bat wings, that flies around saving people.

So glad you liked my song.

A nice poem about trying to pay bills by gambling. You point out in the poem and in your comments it is a bad way to go. Good Hub.

It’s just a song; I’m in no way advocating gambling as you can clearly read in my Call-Outs :-)
