Motherland

One place rich in history

A token to the world

Lovely people dancing

In rhythm like the stars in the sky

Phoebe

Phoebe
A strong one
as fragile as the valleys
of Ethiopia
Phoebe
a soldier among the youth
crying for her country
apartied no more

Safari

The beautiful tigers roaming the land

Hippos, elephants and exotic birds

Make a home here as the rising sun

draws near

A safari, oh how its nature's

most precious gift to the world

Daughter

Daughter, I love you like the Nile
your face so prolific it shines
like the a days of old towns
South Africa is your name
Let you culture show its beauty

All the more each day.
