Agnes Laurens is a writer, wife, and mother of three daughters.
On my bed, sitting
Trying to keep open my eyes
Falling down being vague
Drained energy today
People hurting you
Over and over again
Tired wasn't in the dictionary
Changed it all
Every time to recharge
Unhealthy habits arrived
Low energy by day
Whenever standing on the legs
In every walk with my foot
There is loath in my shoes
Slowly going further my path
My drained energy
Going back again
When time is ready

Oh, I am sorry to hear that! I hope you have a way to deal with it. I hope it doesn't take that much energy.
FlourishAnyway from USA on June 23, 2021:
I can identify with this, not because of depression but because of medical issues. Zero energy. Just want to sleep, lay down.
Agnes Laurens (author) from The Netherlands on June 21, 2021:
I somehow have learned how to pick up myself.
Thanks a lot, as well as for the advices.
BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on June 19, 2021:
It's hard to pick yourself up after someone hurts you.
Normal to feel drained.
Take time to hide beneath the covers & mourn. Then fix you something to eat.
Get dressed. Change your day around & start living one step at a time.
Great write .
