An Ode to The Sky—Poem
Sometimes white, sometimes grey,
You are limitless, you are boundless,
Sometimes blue, sometimes crimson,
You are ceaseless, you are endless,
As far as the eyes can see,
You are hope, and you inspire,
Looking upto you, the tiny me,
To touch you, is my desire,
I wish, I was the sea,
Or the lake, or the river,
To reflect your shades truly,
And meet you at the horizon,
To showcase my love,
As boundless as thee.
If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields, has the power to move you, if the simple things of Nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.
Aim for the sky, but move slowly, enjoying every step along the way. It is all those little steps, that makes the journey complete.
The sky takes on shades of orange during Sunrise and Sunset. The colour that gives you hope, that Sun will set, only to rise again.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain, or usher storm, but to add colour to my Sunset sky.
Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us, and conspires only to give the best to those, who dream and work.
—-Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
I always believe that the sky is the beginning of the limit.
Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved, by the letting of a little water.
Beautiful Sunsets, need cloudy skies.
The sky is like an infinite movie to me. I never get tired of looking at what’s happening up there.
—K. D. Lang
Even when the sky is filled with clouds, the Sun still shines above.
