This poem evinces the inability of the man in modern times to worship the Almighty as humans keep wavering between trust and distrust.
Vedic Mantras were being chanted
Divine hymns were being intoned
In the silence of the morning,
The almighty was being invoked
Motionless I lay trying to behold
The form of the formless God
Through more perceptive inner eye
Though my mortal eyes remained closed
Earthly shackles lay on me manifold
Thereby incapacitating me and my hold
On the basic yet imperative truths of life
Which, all this while, remained abstruse
As the fundamental truth didn't unfold.
