Exploration is the essence of the human spirit.

Space Exploration is the continuation of the pioneer spirit and manifest destiny.

Within the soul of America is freedom of mind and spirit.

That pull, that unknown, that prospect of adventure that compels us to seek new frontiers.

The realization of an amazing dream!

To look up into the sky knowing one of the 'stars' is the planet you were born on.

One small step on Mars, one giant leap for all Mankind.

What can Mars teach us?

Is there life on Mars?

Can we make it a new home?

      breakfastpop thanks for the reply

Given the state of our world right now, it would be really nice to see nations come together to complete such a historic and meaningful goal.

And if not it would be nice to see the Nation strive to achieve such. It might help unite people behind accomplishing such an achievement.

I love this. Given the state of our world right now, Mars seems like the place to go!
