Soldiers Tribute, Songwriting
Soldiers deserve honor and great recognition! Thus, my song dedicated to these brave ones, Eagles Wings, is a tribute to their heroism.

Soldiers bravely take to the battlefield and fight
These young heroes battle day and night
While proudly proving love to their country and its truth
As mothers pray on their knees and brave every war too

It was more like an epic scene from a surreal dream
Spreading its wings, it sang a song, as tears filled its eyes
Singing that freedom is bought with blood
Crystals filled my eyes too, singing that freedom is bought with blood
There was still more that the Eagle said, ’bout all the bloodshed
And every word churned and burned through the depths of my soul
Singing that freedom is bought with blood
Soldiers bravely take to the battlefield and fight
These young heroes battle day and night
While proudly proving love to their country and its truth
As mothers pray on their knees and brave every war too
The Eagle sang through crystal tears
Singing, make soldiers’ lives count by living right
And the Eagle spread its wings
Freedom became more sweet, as the Eagle spread its wings
The Eagle told me not to cry,
But live my life in truth
And take honor and love as my stand
With helpful hands
’Cause freedom is bought with brave men’s blood *(and, women’s too)!
So whenever all seems lost just remember each soldier’s high cost
(Their high cost)!
(High cost)!
Then, the Eagle’s wings fluttered gently
Brought me to my knees
Its pride so noble got me smiling in time
Its vow became mine
Because freedom is bought with blood always
Soldiers bravely take to the battlefield and fight
These young heroes battle day and night
Giving up their lives, each one
Through blood, sweat, and brave tears
They dismiss their own fears
Giving up their young years
The Eagle sang through crystal tears
Singing, make soldiers’ lives count by living right
And the Eagle spread its wings
The Eagle sang through crystal tears
Singing, make soldiers’ lives count by living right
And the Eagle spreads its wings

It is true that True Freedom will come our way only by Jesus Christ. And, even now, we can be free, from within, when we have a close bond with our Lord, and Savior.
I do not know enough about worldly issues in order to get into politics, but I do know that our soldiers risk their lives out on the battlefield in a good conscience, and with bravery in their hearts.
I salute the U.S. Soldiers for their sacrifice, now, yesterday, and in the future to come.
Thank you for your interesting comment, and I am happy that you like my tribute to these American Heroes.

I was only an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War and had no injuries from it but when I look back on it I want to puke. There we young, mostly boys, were spilling our blood behind an act of treason for a nation who primarily wanted to extend America's dream of being the empire here mother, Great Britain, failed to accomplish without any moral reason. Then I looked at the nation's constitution and the actual history we are allow to read and found taking this land and every war against foreign nations including Mexico violated violated the supreme law.
To this day I have yet to see any freedom attained from any war's blood shed but I am now aware that true freedom, for those desiring it, WILL BE bought by a single man's bloodshed in the near future. May who is to be called the Christ hurry into his temple so we can experience peace for the first time in my 73 years.
Well said, Yancosky, although NO freedom has come from any war's blood.
