Dusty Roads

watch-out-for-potholes

Summer in this neighborhood,

No streets of hot asphalt,

Just the dusty winding roads,

With nature’s beauty sought.

Dear mother nature brings,

Beauty as it is seen.

Weathering with heat,

But touch a gentle breeze

dusty-roads

Greenery growing strong,

A place for man and beast.

Wildlife of many live,

Here among the trees.

June brings the beginning,

A truly welcome summer.

Warm temperatures alert,

The bugs, the bees, the hummers.

Hang on tight and take a ride,

Views of majestic sights,

Dirt roads with endless dust,

To be there just feels right.

No destinations planned,

We get there when we see,

The first glimpse of magic,

Among the evergreens.
