Dragon and Me - a Fantasy Poem

One night, a majestic dragon appeared to me,

I was mesmerized looking at this creature.

His flamboyant and large wings amazed me,

He was so nurturing and very friendly to me.

He invited me to go out and roamed around,

He let me climbed on his back and held tightly.

He then flapped his wings and we flew together,

My heart is filled with excitement upon flying.

I saw those beautiful lights flickering below,

I was amazed as I looked at things around.

I never felt this happy in my entire life,

I was flying as if I had wings on my back.

Dragon brought me to this beautiful place,

Filled with vivid and breathtaking scenery.

We sat down together and stared at the view,

We really seemed to understand each other.

Later on, we flew back and returned home,

He put me gently onto the floor of my balcony.

He looked at me and said goodbye to me,

I hugged and thanked him for the last time.

He then flew back and vanished into the clouds.

I suddenly heard the buzzing of my alarm clock.

I woke up and realized that it was just a dream,

A beautiful dream about me and the dragon.
