Don’t Wake Me

I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.

You are comfortable. You are considerate. You are kind. You are gentle.
You are passive. I am aggressive.

I continue to kneel down before you and worship you.
You know you are adored.

If I were to ask, would you embrace me and hold me ‘til I sleep in your arms? As I dream you take my hand and lead me forward towards memory’s gully. I stare into a stream and see reflections within my mind. It’s on fire and the fire can’t be quenched. Would you share with me how to quench the fire? Would you be willing involved with quenching it? Teach me, would you?

You have a way with making me remember, think and stay within the boundaries. Placing remembrances in my mind. Subtle ideas or thoughts: suggestions, really. You gotta love that psychology, eh?

That is my story-- the words in my head overflowing into a creek bed of silent pebbles.
I hope you search for the trinkets I leave behind. That would make me proud to know you feel your passion in tune with mine. Not only proud, but loved as well. Thank you.
