Doditsu #0572
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
Dodoitsu #0572
Found pre made flower boxes
piled in the sagebrush outside
mixed in with pile of lumber
my garden awaits.
To sneak out of home at night
load my truck with scrap lumber
pick up these misplaced boxes
fill with mulch and soil.
To plant long promised Roses
along the side of my home
in this reused plywood box
pray for early bloom.
Fill in where dogs dug ditches
with boxes after a paint
a white primer with blue sky
mountains and some trees.
A space for my vegetables
a means to feed family
in these flower boxes found
under the sagebrush.
It seems the desert provides
a ray of hope shines on yard
this years efforts will be grand
I pray for good yield.
