Do I Have to Beg?
It has always been easy
To tell people you're alright
Rather than explaining why you're not
Why you feel like your whole life's a crap
Why you can never grasp the light in sight
Why everything gets dimmer and darker
And the only thing you can see is pitch black
It's as if you swam so deep
So lost that you can't go back
To the surface where
The reality is unfair and unjust
And everyone holding you hostage of your past
All I ask is a life of green and peace
Still can't have it
Even with a million please

I like it. For some reason it reminds me of being tossed around by a wave and hitting the bottom as you cannot tell up from down.
