Separate me from my brain

It causes me so much pain

Much to my own shame

It’s all in your head

They tell me

Till I wish I were dead

But if my head is real

So is the pain

And the shame

Don’t dismiss it so lightly

Or soon again I find myself gripping the blade tightly

This pain

As much my reality

As the blood in your veins

I’d be quite remiss

If I didn’t tell you

Don’t dismiss my pain

And I wont dismiss that vein

Or soon this blade won’t be pressed against you lightly

And you’ll be embracing the darkness rightly

Better to get the pain out in poetry than on yourself. We have all encountered such pain in our lives, some more than others. I wish you much peace.

There is so much pain in your poem. I pray everything goes well with you. Amen! It's a shame when people ignore the pain and feelings of others. Stay safe and healthy.

Wow! A very dark and sad poem.

It's a shame when others ignore the signs of something that feels so real.

There could actually be a problem. Trust me...I've been through the mill with doctors and heard that age old saying...it's just in your head.

Then wanting to give you a slew of pills.

There is something in my head...it's a tumor.

So don't take any pain lightly...see a different doctor. No matter how long it takes.
