Disgrace of the Fathers
Is a time of darkness, a state of disgrace, that of the fathers,
When all sit in place, not minding their jobs, no one bothers.
Allowing the mundane, the important matters take back seats,
The most terrible state of affairs had, as each one so repeats.
How can a majority be so beguiled to believe the lies,
Thinking that that is the right course to take, so defies.
When our lives take such a horrible turn, is regrettable,
Must we all sit and listen to the hype, seems incredible.
Will history so record this, such a shameful expose,
Shall we look back at this time, want it to go away?
Pray to our God, that this is but a dream, we share,
A turning tide of retribution comes in, to make it fair.
