Destructive Anchor
Wrong call was it
He asked:
Why did you took the risk of sailing?
She Answered:
I sailed off without thinking that my ship would be wrecked. I sailed off believing, with you beside me, I'd be safe. It never crossed my mind that you are the big and destructive wave I needed to cross- go against. It's because you dressed like an anchor, without the intention to destroy. But, I was wrong.

Yes, one never lets it cross his mind that he is headed into harms way.
Some of us trust love blindly.
Good write.

A powerful poem Heidy and I like how you use 'anchor' as being safe and yet destructive. An enjoyable read.
