I'm a writer, a poet, a dreamer. Born and raised in New York City. I now live in Daytona Beach, Florida. .
fell from the heavens,
as he searched for the cloud -
with the silver lining.
Full of this golden,
while hour after hour,
the raindrops continued to fall,
creating golden rivulets -
that sparkled and shone.
It was just his wild imaginings,
for he was feeling so lucky,
life seemed to be so good,
he didn’t want his bubble to burst,
so he kept daydreaming -
about golden rain showers.
This indescribable happiness,
had washed over him,
the day that she came into his life,
like an angle that had lost her wings,
he had mended her broken heart
and right from the start,
he knew that the fates,
had sent her to him,
for now it seemed that every cloud,
that filled the sky,
had a silver lining
and when the storm clouds gathered,
he held her close and promised -
that soon a rainbow would appear.
When the clouds parted
and the first sunrays appeared,
the light that shown,
was as bright as the light -
shining from her eyes.
Day after day
and all the while,
he needed nothing more,
than her ever loving smile
and her tender kiss –
a touch that said so much!
