Sonnets of the Rising Dawn, Saturday's Inspiration 36

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom from the Master

"Hope is not mere wishful thinking.

It is the precursor of a new dawn that

Slowly, steadily and unerringly comes to the fore,

Eventually growing into reality's existence." - Sri Chinmoy

Dawn Will Still Smile With the Rising Sun

When the heart is heavy; the coffers light.

When the grey mists of darkness, knows your sighs;

Your tears flow a plenty; all don’t seem right,

The light of heaven seems blind to your cries!

It’s ok, sweet Empress, it could have been worse,

Love hides in your struggle and mind-filled wars.

The Sunset will wane and dark clouds disperse,

You will glow with the moon and dance with stars.

Your grief’s unbearable; efforts undone,

Bereavement ties your emotions in chains.

The Dawn will still smile with the rising sun,

God’s doves will gather, to cradle your pains.

Fear not my darling, rise up and withstand,

Naught will take place, save the Light of Love’s hand!

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier.7th August, 2021

She Kissed My Heart, Upon This Morning’s Hue

The blue moon’s glimmer, peeping through the morn,

Its alluring beauty my only goal.

The sacred Light of yet another dawn,

Ever anew, replenishes my soul.

A tiny candle sparkles in the Heart,

I float upon a tide of crimson waves,

Caressed by sunbeams, whose sweet rays impart,

The inner grandeur of Aladdin’s caves.

O Light! Thy balm now percolates my core,

Within, without, Thy mystic golden glow.

As Peace ascends Thy psychic tears doth flow,

Loves’ opened up the portals of Her door.

She kissed my Heart upon this morning’s hue,

Awoke my soul’s affinity for You.

- Manatita, 4th January, 2017

Love Caresses Me Upon This Virgin Dawn

Something stirs my Spirit upon this morn,

I feel replenished, saturated; whole.

The sacred light of yet another dawn,

Ever anew, replenishes my Soul.

A tiny glimmer in a Heart of Love,

I float upon a sea of crimson waves.

Caressed and kissed by sunbeams from above,

Absorbed in bliss at heaven’s secret caves.

O joy awakened on this golden Light,

The songs of cockatiels fill my core,

All where I feel Thy joyful sweet Delight,

Charmed melodies upon yon distant shore.

Now wide awake, the sky a brilliant hue,

And autumn streams a rose-magenta view.

Wisdom from the Master

"The waves of hatred-night,

can easily be dissolved,

In the sea of Oneness-Love." - Sri Chinmoy

"Ask not for a lighter burden,

But for a stronger Heart." - Sri Chinmoy

"Judge nothing, you will be happy.

Forgive everything you will be happier.

Love everything, you will be happiest." - Sri Chinmoy

Namaste, Amara.

Tell me about it. What were you doing? Was nature soothing? Did you have to stop and reflect on where you're going? Were you processing what it all means to be in this body-cage? (Sweet chuckle) Did miss you! Read my piece on Building a Meaningful Life.'
