Dark Turns Into Light
We can embrace the nightfall
Take a break from standing tall
The comfort of the night
Escape from worries of the fight
Gives time to hide away
From the situations of the day
See home like a cocoon to settle in to
Take a respite from what our minds go through
Stay calm to carry on
While the certainty is gone
Slowing down and being still
Helps bring back tomorrow’s will
Let’s take care then be sure to share
And support others with love and care

The way of life right now is so different for so many people. I think this poem does address thar situation. It is a very good poem, Nella.

An encouraging poem, Nella. I work from home so there hasn’t been a lot of change to my routine, but I understand how those still out working in these worrying times that home would be a welcome sanctuary to return to each night. Hopefully things will get better before getting much worse.

Hope you are taking care, and the weather will get better soon for you I bet. I am actually still working, so maybe that's why home is still a welcome comfort in the evening. Let's hope things get better soon.

Hope you're staying safe out there, Nella! Personally, just hoping this rain and cold weather passes so that we can get back to our outdoor activities (still social distancing just outside). Being locked indoors is maddening, especially when all you have to look at is the internet! At least I can workout.
