City of Evil

I am no poet, just a thrower of words. Still wandering what's life and why and how did I end up here?

DDD

Datta Dayadhvam Damyata

Out on chilling Bay, resting across

Shallow pathways, red headed serpant

Twine into rustic North, ahead times woe

Downtown mechanic of hosted structure

Erase all borrowed debts, the city of devil.

To whomp and to owe mercy of the self

Shan't rest, to idiosyncrasies of oister low

Chuckle and bustle, the Golden Beagle's blow

Wow, thanks for such a lovely review. The three D's come from t.s.Elliot's Datta. Dayadhvam. Damyata The wasteland/ and they predict Peace before action. it is very complex, the poem wasteland itself/ You should read it, if you have not...here is the link

Thank you for sharing this. It is very intellectual. I understand it somewhat, but not completely. It is deep, and dark, of course. I have never crossed the three D’s before so I am uncertain of its meaning. Perhaps, it has “inside meaning”. I believe this is a brilliant poem.
