Creation (A Poem)

JayDee grew up watching and reading fairytales. She also has been writing poetry since she was 12.

From the beginning of your time
Here on earth,
He has been by your side
Since your birth,

That gentle whisper
Saying "Everything will be alright,"
That calming love
In the dead of night,

For in my weakness
He hugs me tight,
Everything I see wrong in me
He sees just right,

He's a great listener
Only the best,
In times of trouble
He'll give you rest,

Oh how I can sleep
With such peace of mind,
With a God so great
And so unbelievably kind,

Oh this breathless love
that no one can comprehend,
A gift bestowed
My birthright and end,

And Oh look at His creation
Every corner, shape, and shadow,
Nature sings His glory
Every mountain, hill, and meadow,

Animals with instincts
Sharp and Wise,
Look how they adapt to their habitat
And how He made their lives,

Every color and personality
An image of God alike,
Made for His glory
Human beings, Mankind.

With ways
No man can contemplate,
Ways we must try to follow
Until we reach the pearly gate,

Anyone in need
Let me introduce you to love,
The kind gentle spirit,
This graceful white dove,

Far be from me
To doubt this amazing God,
His amazing work
So vast, so broad,

He knows what's best
For You are His light,
He has watched you grow
And knows how to treat you right,

For Remember God is love
He knows your every decision,
And He's simply a father
Who loves you, His creation.

Beautifully expressed and I agree with your thoughts in the poem.

He is always there for us, he takes care of us, without us even knowing about it.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem!

Thank you, I truly believe that God teaches us the things we don't understand.

"ways no man can contemplate" refers to the questions we have for God. Like in the case of the garden of Eden - Why did he put the tree of good and evil there knowing what's going to happen. We don't question God for his ways are not our ways but we can try and follow his son for the lessons he has taught us. :) God bless you.

Very well said, JayDee, giving recognition of your higher self or god within every living being.

However, I disagree that "no man can contemplate" God's ways. Everything in existence is put here as our teachers and man don't use "judgmental adjectives" provided to confuse human and woman - meaning minds unable to comprehend all things - since man means "minds ablate comprehend all things.

The Bible's metaphor, "the garden in Eden story," reveals judgmental adjectives were place in it to allow every human/woman to experience every possible experience and emotion, via reincarnation, God has so that we can, once we are "born again" via a mophing into man. Otherwise well done.
