Crazy Leaders of the World's Biggies: A Rhyme to Entertain
Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

Sometimes I wonder if the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on, or by imbeciles who really mean it.

I call "biggies" all countries in possession of nukes
whether they call themselves superpowers or not
but their leaders keep acting like crazy spooks
impotent to create peace, just arguing a lot.
With educated advisers -- themselves literate too
they make conflicts, not shying away from wars
about a global harmony they don't have a clue
constantly in business of settling old scores.
When you really think of it -- are they really leading
or merely satisfying their insane greed for power
there's one area where they're succeeding
being untouchable in their ivory towers.
Like some crazy kings dictating some mad rules
they are parading as if worthy of people's trust
swinging their big balls over eight billion fools
with a passion for deceiving resembling lust.
As if in secret agreement to maintain existential fear
with the medical authorities helping there as well
every encouraging smile is as good as sneer
because it's just a bunch of lies they sell.
Well, I am a political cynic, for those who don't know
to me, they are all careerists by their profession
a bunch of crazies running their own show
all sharing the same unholy obsession.
