Bleeding on paper Sometimes it just needs to get out, to be written, to bleed onto paper. This poem bled onto paper after a vivid dream!

"Living online instead of a part of the world,Living in a screen instead of in your home"

Slave to the world of your own creation

Slave to the world of your own creation

Computer Junkie

You sit all day in your world of wires and lies
Which email to use
Which person to make cry
Living online instead of a part of the world
Living in a screen instead of in your home
Wasting away for hours
Letting the fuzz blur it out
Take away the pain
Take away the memories
Take away the reality
You can't hide away in that screen
Wrapped up in a fake life
You will not find happiness
unless you look harder than that
Inside a screen
Behind Iron bars
Whats the different
When life is no longer yours
Trapped inside
Alone at night
Get up and go out
Go ahead and fly
It is not the end just yet
Pretend to be someone else
Pretend your the Queen of it all
But in reality your falling apart
You're losing it all
Close your eyes and cover your ears
There's nothing more to see here

Your hub puts me into the style of the late Dr. Hunter Thompson, who was light-years from mortal man.

I loved your hub. Very professional and colorful.

Please keep it up.

Yes, we all know some people like this. To them the virtual online world is where they spend most of their life and they try to block out or hide from the real world.

That is a wonderful story and well written. It is so compelling and makes you think about your priorities.
