Come Whisper to Me Gently

Donna is a lifelong poet and writer, she shares her love of God, and in helping others draw from His strength to get past life's struggles..

Come Whisper to Me Gently

Come whisper to me gently; let it echo through the night
Let it travel through the mist in the shadows of the light
No distance stands between us, as we unite this thing called love
Let it dance in the wind, as our hearts beat as one

A love so precious; I feel it every time we touch
I long for your sweet embrace, and I savor every one
This love takes us to the place where others dare to dream
It's written in the depths of our hearts to fulfill our destiny

Feel the words flow ever so tenderly from my ruby lips
Your love is the greatest of all, to give all that we can give
I cherish every moment that I can spend with you
Our love is forever and I know that you feel it too

Take this journey with me, the future is unknown
But, when I’m in your arms; I know that I'm finally home
I love you more than words can express, I love you with all my heart
This is only the beginning for us and I pray we never part

Let your love flow freely; let it shine deep within your soul
Oh, my darling kiss me now and never let me go
True love lasts forever and that love I've found in you
Just remember that lover's dreams really do come true

I can not speak the words enough; my heart belongs to you this day
May I ask just one more thing; don’t let "life" get in the way
The love we share is endless, there’s so much more to share
Please look deep within your heart and know you will always find me there...

"Let me paint you a picture - a picture with words"

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of writing poetry!
