City Haiku
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
In Hickory shade
I complain of being old
without some sunlight
City tree barren
as barren as the city
where I have found pace
Even this old bench
moves slightly every season
as I take a seat
Many colored lights
different colors different day
a life of refraction

I could feel an ambient sense of movement. Nice.

Light and shade create mood and pace, I find. I like the reflection in this poem of refraction, Jamie!
