“Christmas Time in Florida”

Christmas time in Florida is unique;

A warm wonderland.

The weather is never bleak,

With snowmen made of sand.

It is a warm wonderland,

Where temperatures often average 75 degree Fahrenheit.

With snowmen made of sand,

The paradise feel is a fun sight.

Since temperatures often average 75 degree Fahrenheit,

The outside decorations are never covered in snow.

The paradise feel is a fun sight,

As tranquil fountains still freely flow.

Though the outside decorations are never covered in snow,

It is a paradise where our lights wrap around palm trees.

As tranquil fountains still freely flow,

Life-sized wooden toy soldier decor stand sturdy among a light breeze.

It is a paradise where our lights wrap around palm trees,

And the weather is never bleak.

Life-sized wooden toy soldier decor stand sturdy among a light breeze,

Showing how Christmas time in Florida is unique.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on December 24, 2020:

Sounds quite different. We have snow blowing with a chilly temperature going into the low teens tonight on Christmas Eve.

It is like 16° F now at 10:50 pm.

It looks like most of us will be home for Christmas looking outside to a Winter Wonderland.

I do not know what snowmen made out of sand is...I can't imagine that one. I suppose it's like a sandcastle on the beach.

Have a very Merry Christmas!

John Hansen from Queensland Australia on December 24, 2020:

It sounds similar to most parts of Australia. We have sandmen, not snow men, too. Merry Christmas.

Peggy Woods from Houston, Texas on December 24, 2020:

Houston generally has mild winters also and is similar to parts of Florida.
