Changed Heart: A Poem for Easter
Paul is an Engineer. A graduate from a Catholic University. A rebel and a romantic...
If I can only press rewind
Go back to when the world is kind
That time when leaders are not blind
Truth about life and death I'll find...
We say hello...we say goodbye
So many times we tried to fly
Our hearts broken but still we try
To move on after every cry.
I wrestled with God day and night
Struggling to rise with all my might
I feel so alone in this plight
Why did I even take that flight?
There are no stars I'm all alone
Where's the light? I'm just flesh and bones
The Messiah is on the throne...
He knew me before I was born...
I’ve had enough of sad stories
Oh my Lord, I am so sorry….
My heart needs to see God’s glory
Dance in heaven’s territory…

Yes, indeedy sweetie!
I felt like I was reading one of my pieces here because I can relate to this so deeply.
We all have these thoughts...and feelings and it's all kinds of human.

Thanks I wrote this poem after going thru a low point and deciding to surrender my battles to God....
