More Celebration of Brenda's 29th Prompt on Freedom

HAIKU:

Zephyrs kiss the rose

Its breath dances gleefully

My soul drinks beauty.

This sweet atonement

My Heart 'wakens to the Light

A dawn unfurling

Awake! O Lover!

The moon and stars are dancing

The nightingales sing

The virgin morn smiles

Renewal is its glimmer

Spring awakes the rose

Wisdom from the Master

"True freedom does not lie in speaking ill of the world, or in speaking ill of an individual or individuals. Again, true freedom does not lie in merely appreciating and admiring the world or humanity at large. True freedom lies only in our inseparable oneness with the world’s inner cry and its outer smile. The world’s inner cry is God the Realisation. The world’s outer smile is God the Manifestation.@ - Sri Chinmoy

Quote on Freedom

celestial-freedoms-tuesdays-inspirations-27to-my-dear-friend-rinita-sen

I Bask in The Light That Never Sleeps. A Free-style Sonnet

For millennia, I lived in a tunnel with crows

And shadows. The cold winter chill with which

Greed engulfed me, was at times my sole

Companion, until Love paid a visit to my abyss.

Seeing a dim-lit candle in the distance, I gave myself

To the Beloved, as compassion embraced me, with its vast

Ocean of celestial sweetness. Now instead of walking in the

Darkness, I am entranced by the splendour of glimmering Lights.

The redolence of jasmines soothes my Spirit, and I

Dance with the grace of butterflies; the elegance of swans.

The melody of starlings, sing to me of Spring; I smile as the

Sunflowers waltz to the breeze, unfurling their magic in meadows.

Long and wearisome was this sojourn! But ballads of moonbeams

Heralds the dawn, as I bask in the Light, that never sleeps.

The Light of The Rose

celestial-freedoms-tuesdays-inspirations-27to-my-dear-friend-rinita-sen

The Enchanted Home-coming

I play the ecstatic music of the Flautist,

As I go forth to manifest Her melodies.

I offer myself like the delicate breeze,

Dancing with willows in the breath of Spring.

My Heart is pining for Shyama’s Love,

As She lifts me, like a bird, and I glide

Into the magenta hue of autumnal leaves,

Soaring in freedom with light Zephyrs.

Into the sunset of the valley of golden lanterns,

I hear the choo, choo, choo, of my destined train,

And I yearn for the coming of my sunrise. The

Effulgence of the moon, has sent me an invitation.

My soul, now captivated by its beauty, rains joyful tears,

Eager to enjoy the symphonies, of an enchanted home-coming.

- Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 29th April, 2016

Beautiful poetry Manatita. Very poignant lines:

Heralds the dawn, as I bask in the Light, that never sleeps'. Lovely quotes and Sri Chinmoy's wisdom. A very good tribute to Rinita and a great response to Brenda's word prompt. Have a blessed day.

Manatita44

You have graced us with another wonderful piece of work.

In "More Celebration of Brenda's 29th Prompt on Freedom" you give us a few delightful Haikus.

My favorite one:

Zephyrs kiss the rose

Its breath dances gleefully

My soul drinks beauty.

I can picture the wind touching the petals of the rose.

In "Wisdom from the Master" you tell us true freedom is when we find the realization of God & manifest him into our life becoming one with our soul.

In your sonnet, "I Bask in The Light That Never Sleeps" you show us how greed overtook your heart.

You were left alone walking in the darkness for years until you saw a glimmer of light.

When you embrace the love of God & accept him into your life, your soul feels peaceful.

A soothing melody plays in your soul as you bask in his glorious light.

In your poem,"The Enchanted Home-coming" you show us how you offer yourself when manifesting the love of the Shyama into your life.

Giving us a glimpse of the beauty in heaven when you are called home.

I absolutely love the video at the end. Wonderful quotes to ponder.

This is a fantastic tribute to Rinita Sen.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

Hello, Peggy.

I see you've written something. I'll visit you soon.

I love that you see and take in the beautiful message today, the finer points on the Hub. Yes, I love that flower-quote too. You mention of Rinita is noted with Love. Much gratitude.

Peggy Woods from Houston, Texas on September 14, 2021:

What beautiful words you have written. Between your words and the quotes, love, hope, aspiration, wisdom, freedom and more are addressed. Great way to start my day! Thanks! Rinita should like your dedication to her. I loved the image with the rose and the quote: "Wisdom is the seed of freedom, but only in action do we see it flower."

manatita44 (author) from london on September 14, 2021:

Aww, my Bhaia Ji, MG.

Indeed!! Indeed!! We need this Moksha ... to be a Jivan Mukta is practically everything, irreversible. I like to add Surrender. To be God's loving slave. Love you, Bro. Thank you so much!!

manatita44 (author) from london on September 14, 2021:

Bill, very sweet thing to say.

The feeling is reciprocal. Stay well and blessed.

Thanks John.

You noticed the traditional Haiku. Naturally. Thank you so much!!

Pamela,

I see you have a taste for the eloquent visual, ha'ha. Well-crafted and well chosen lines. Thank you so much!!

Misbah,

Our greatest longing is for Freedom, known as Moksha (Liberation) The more formal and complete way, is to say God-Realisation or Self-Realisation. That is a paraphrase of the first thing Guru ji said. Every soul seeks this.

The second thing he said is that earth is the field of manifestation (God's divine Lila (Leela), that is to say, an expression of the absolute in visible form, sent here to serve, to manifest God's Light ... to glorify ...

You hang on my words, even more than lady L, hangs on her culinary expertise. Chuckle. So worthy and so essential!! Muchisimas gracias! Fi Aman Allah Tambien. Wa iyakki! Salaam!

MG Singh emge from Singapore on September 14, 2021:

Celestial freedom, this is all we strive for-to break the shackles and enter a world of bliss. Beautiful poems sir, that touched me. Thank you.

John Hansen from Gondwana Land on September 14, 2021:

Wonderful words in different poetic forms, and a worthy tribute to Rinita. Thank you for sharing.

Misbah Sheikh from The World of Rebels. on September 14, 2021:

Splendid!! Beautiful poems and Haikus. Loved it all. The world’s inner cry is God the Realisation. The world’s outer smile is God the Manifestation.--- so true words. Really good and made me feel yes, that's right. Bro, I loved these lines very much and they touched my heart:

"Seeing a dim-lit candle in the distance, I gave myself

To the Beloved, as compassion embraced me, with its vast

Ocean of celestial sweetness. Now instead of walking in the

Darkness, I am entranced by the splendour of glimmering Lights. "

So much hope in there. Loved it all, bro. Loved it all. Super great! I also enjoyed the video and the last quote by Sri Chinmoy. It is so important for us to understand in today's world. There is so much wisdom in there. Thank you so much for sharing. You took the freedom to the peak of Mount Everest. ;)

Again a Wonderful response to Brenda's prompt and a beautiful tribute to Rinita Sen. God bless you always. Fi Aman Allah!

Blessings and Love to you and Rinita .
