Castles and Apples

We know what they are doing
Their plans aren't for you and me
We must make them remember our children
Your personal life they cannot see

Who made them leave a blade of grass
The bugs in the water were their first
You cannot unplug them from a stream
Unless it dries up leaving us with our thirst

Don't speak to me about being free
It's not meant for you to harm me
I wonder if you think we're so indifferent
To watch you make our clear water green

The modern times are only about convenience
The hearts of men though remain medieval as castles
Surrounding us keeping us in while you wage your daily
But remember well we have also eaten our apples
