Cancer
“When it rains, look for rainbows
When it's dark, look for stars.”
No one wants to have you
worries you put one through
you make one feel so screwed
it's scary to have you
Like a thief in the night
no one has the foresight
fear your name can incite
you give one so much fright
Nobody is immune
you leave one so consumed
you can come late or soon
no time is opportune
Body and mind can't rest
faith is put to the test
to fight you is a quest
that all will do their best
To beat you at all cost
all stakes need to exhaust
one keeps his fingers crossed
so life will not be lost
The one who can't be named
you cause not only pain
but put one strained and drained
like one has just been maimed
Scientists are eager
find a cure that'll answer
the world will be better
if you are gone-CANCER
“When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: You haven't.”
