But All the Same, She Left
As a poetic, I have a good poem for you. Torn Between My Heart and My Head
She was naïve, just not used to this new environment
I dedicated myself to you
It was not supposed to be a crime
But all the same, she left
No one will ever change how I feel
Or what I felt
It was painful
But all the same, she left
She said I had no dollars
But I was young
Ready to do anything
But all the same, she left
Not what I wanted
Was just a waste of time
But why did she stay for long
But all the same, she left
I did what I could
But she couldn’t stay
Said I had ego
But all the same, she left
The shoes were too big
Couldn’t fit in them
She created no room
But all the same, she left
All the memories
Turned to sorrow and tears
She didn’t care
But all the same, she left
Pretending all the time
Crying all the time
Trusted the wrong person
But all the same, she left
A scar in the heart
Big enough to heal
Took 100 years
But all the same, she left
This wasn’t the way
There was many ways
She chose to do it
But all the same, she left
