Sitting on the bed lost in her own thoughts

As The light of dawn graced her room

Feeling so overwhelmed with her emotions

As painful tears flow down her face

Haunted by the memories of the past

She felt dizzy and suffocated all over again

Slapped with the thought of regret, frustration and despair

As she dives through those painful memories

No one sees the tears

That drips in her heart

No one understands the trauma

That's feeds on her soul

No one feels the voices

Screaming in her mind

All they see and admire

Is her perfection in everything

But no one knows the struggle

She has mastered the art

Of masking her pain
