Bright Light I Wish It Was Me

It's all memories of you. Bittersweet it is but just the thought of it gave me some strength.

Bright light that crossed the sky
You guided me tonight,
As I listen with the wuthering winds
Of the fear of night
Having to face death once again
But you at least showed up.

You gave me the wild orchid
Until I'm doped with it's scent
And a tranquil pain if loss
Was defined as you crossed
Living me lying on the floor.

Bright light that crossed the sky
Can you show you show up before I die?
Give me everything you gave
Help me lie myself on my grave
With the bright light I wished was me.
