Betrayer of Souls

O how Sad I am ...

Sad for those who were betrayed.

Sad for those who sought revenge.

Sad for those who harmed another.

Sad for those who lost their way.

Sad for those who gained from sin.

Sad for those who cared for good.

O yes, how Sad I am for me.

For shattered is my trust

Hark!

Betrayer of thy Souls

Hear thy Judgement.

You who Heralded Hell,

You who Created Deception,

You who Destroyed Eden.

What did you gain?

What was your cost?

O Lucifer of Sin,

Enjoy thy Damning Fall.

For Through thy Willful Choice,

Darkness does Cover thy Lands.

And Chaos Confuse thy Gates.

For Pleasured Purpose did Prevail,

Yeah, Eve did Choose her Lie,

And Adam, yeah did choose his Death.

For Pleasured Moment did thou Partake.

But where is thy Pleasure Now?

Do you still find comfort in thy pain?

Did not thy Paradise Vanish Forever?

Is not thy Peace but now a Memory?

O Sad Darkness Be Gone!

Let thy Evil Blind us no more!

But let thy Light be our Guide,

And thy Love, now be our Lore.

Thanks. Wrote it fast - inspired by my emotions for my friend. I did not edit much. I sent it to him. He really was touched by it. Hopefully he will use it to soften his hurt heart and not lash out in his own revenge. I likened his betrayal to that of Christ before his accusers.

Nicely done, Friend! I love the truth of it. This line stands out to me. "O Lucifer of Sin, Enjoy thy Damning Fall." Good stuff!!
