Breaking You

Breaking you is not something I am proud of.

Breaking you is failing you.

Breaking you is hurting you.

Breaking you is leaving you alone with your nightmares.

Breaking you is breaking all the promises I have made.

Breaking you is disappointing everyone.

Breaking you is inevitable.

Breaking you is one of the hardest choice I have made in my life.

Breaking you is setting each other free.

Breaking you is exiting from a toxic and futile relationship.

Breaking you is letting you out of your comfort zone.

Breaking you is bringing you close to your family.

Breaking you is mending long forgotten wounds.

Breaking you is breaking me.

But I will break you all over again if it means leading you to someone who compliments your soul, who is not me.

Years after breaking you, we have crossed paths again. We have both grown up separately. You have patched up the broken rifts with your family. I have found myself that was lost when I tried so hard to be the best for you. We are in the best version of ourselves.

Breaking you is directing us to a refreshing change.

I love this reminds me of Isaiah 61:3 toto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

Very well said Jai. You took the words right out of my mouth.

It is one the most difficult make and break situation of my life.

"YOu lost him yet you found yourself and somehow that is everything "

nice expressive poem.. I love how the way the words appear so strong and vulnerable in this.. it showed how we tend to bear the change in order to transcend to our best self
