Brain Works

brain-works

Soon as I open my eyes
My brain starts going a million miles
Dream a dream
That sometimes become that thing
It's 7:34 AM
Should be going back to sleep
Instead I'm writing this poem
A random thought
Half sleep
Sometimes I could turn it off
Other times
HERE WE ARE
I subconsciously get thoughts
And the physical me
Goes blank
Just a stare
I still could communicate
Or may need a snap back to reality
Every day I get to remember
A new memory
A new thought
It's crazy in a way
But it brings me a form of happiness
Genuine happiness
Still may not be all good thinking thoughts
But I think it's worth it
My own subconscious world
Just how my Brain Works
