blurries

The sky is clear, but I see a blur
Is the world slowly fading? it will, for sure
Colors slowly melt, as a wave of water runs through my vision
Could this be a dream, could this be an illusion?

I hear a sound, a familiar beat
A music of loss, a rhythm of hurt
How could you ignore the scream of a
broken heart?
Will you pick up the debris and fix each part?

The beat becomes louder and I see a light
A ray of sun has hit my eyes
I see colors, I see shapes but they're unclear
As they float in front my view covered with water

So this is how it looks, this is how I see
the world becomes abstract, far from reality
'Cause when the heart can't endure the pain
Our eyes unviel what cannot be seen from within

How much can I hold, how much can I bear?
This storm of emotions, my eyes cant contain
Is it time to let go, is it time to show
The tears in my eyes, the pain I've been through

I drop on my knees, I cant take it anymore
I can feel my tears run down through my cheeks, as they drop on the floor
This is how it should go, this is how it should be
My eyes can never resist the force of gravity

Mark,

Your words touch upon the very essence of emotion.

Great job.

Something is always going to pull us down. It’s how resilient we are. Nice job.
